Home Care Provider Registrations

Registration is for home care providers (caregivers) and agencies providing care to someone in their own home, not other care settings. In order to receive claim reimbursement from one of the government payers all providers MUST have active, approved status with the Bermuda Health Council.

Care agencies and home care providers must have an up to date registration and approval from the Home Care Team at the Bermuda Health Council.

Types of Caregiving providers

There are three categories of caregiving providers:

  • Personal Caregivers
  • Nursing Associates (Geriatric Aides/Nursing Assistants)
  • Registered Nurses
